5K Glow Run is meant to be a fun race for individuals, friends, and families. Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes, bright colors, or homemade shirts, and wear glow necklaces, bracelets, etc. Additional necklaces, bracelets, and sunglasses will be available for purchase. Participants may also carry flashlights or other illuminated items.
Packet Pick -up:
Packet pick-up will be begin at 7:30 pm under the picnic shelter along Central Lakes Trail.
Kids’ free 1k:
The Kids’ free 1K Fun Run will begin at 8:15. Parents, siblings, and friends are welcome to join kids ages 0-12 in the fun run. Runners will run down the trail 500m and run back towards the start line.
5K Glow Run: 5K Glow Run is $15 to run if registered prior to event and $20 the day of the event.
The race will begin at 9:00 pm on the Central Lakes Trail near the picnic shelter in Brandon. The race trail will be a down and back course. It will be illuminated with luminaries to help light the course.
Shirts are an additional $10. They must be ordered by July 21 to be guaranteed. After this time you will only be able to purchase them on race night at a first come first serve availability.
Parking:
Participants should park on County Road 7 or Front Street in Brandon and walk
to the picnic shelter and trail.
